Read the incumbent's output next to a challenger's, for the same input — the human value check before a swap (schema-conformant is not the same as analytically as good). These exist only when a bake-off was run with --keep-outputs, are bounded and expiring, and live in your control plane (never anon-readable). Approving here records a decision, not a deployment — the swap itself is still a command you run and a commit you make.
